RE-ENTRY RECOVERY PROGRAM
Strength In Peers offers peer support and treatment services for justice-involved individuals who struggle with substance abuse. Program participants receive assistance applying for jobs, accessing community services, and enrolling in public benefits. Additionally, our participants receive free outpatient substance abuse and mental health treatment. There are two ways to get enrolled in our program:
We prefer to enroll participants prior to release. We can help you plan your transition into the community and apply for benefits. Inmates can talk to an administrator or re-entry counselor at their facility and let them know that they are interested in our program.
We recommend contact with us prior to release to establish a transition plan. However, if participants do not enroll in the program pre-release, they may still be eligible if they enroll within 30 days post-release. This is determined on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us to discuss eligibility.
